What is "Ikologiks"?
  • In 1977 on the campus of Cornell University a young student then enrolled in the College of Human Ecology surfaced an interesting and innovative new paradigm focused on examining the human enigma as a global process. His name Roger M. Davis (aka Adisa Maina Omar) and upon his graduation a year later he would relocate to Atlanta, Georgia where he would introduce the first Ecologics/Ikologiks training programs. Later, in 1980 Adisa Omar moved to Washington, DC whereupon he launched the first official Ecologics/kologiks training programs in that city. These initial training seminars were sponsored under the auspices of the Papyrus Record Emporium (a retail store he established a top of the historic famous Heller's Bakery Shoppe in the Mt. Pleasant neighborhood of Washington, DC). Throughout the 1980s the Ecologiks/Ikologiks expanded into a national program with an emerging global audience, especially, after 1987 when Adisa was interviewed on call-in public affairs program on BET TV called "On the Line" with Doris McMillion. Following this interview, Adisa launched a USA "Self-Empowerment Training Tour" featuring his innovative concepts based upon the Ikologiks: Nine Principles of Life.
  • In 1989 the first formalized organizational structure was created with the incorporation of  a not-for-profit entity known as the International Association of Ecologics & Alkebu-lanic Studies. In 1991 shortly after the release of the first full-length video documentary on "Ecologics/Ikologiks" theory entitled "Ecologics: The Silent Revolution" the organization's name was changed to the International Academy of Ikologiks & Advanced Studies. For the next ten years (1991 - 2001) the organization would a experience a series of advances and set-backs, until it was decided in 2002 to suspend the activities of the organization as Adisa left to teach overseas in South Korea. However, once he was in South Korea, he found an new found audience for his views, teachings, and his newly published book "Ultimate Mental Power" (pub. 1999). It was during this period that plans were drawn up for establishing the Ikologiks Center for Global Studies, which ceased operations in 2010.

About Ikologiks theory...
Ikologiks theory is a not an ideology, dogma, religion, or political theory and does not adhere either to a "thinking inside the box" or "us vs. them" mentality. It is a comprehensive multi-faceted philosophical system of thought that embraces all known (and, unknown) theories, conceptualizations, or other means of study that offer insights about life processes. The approach seeks to unite and reintegrate the current divide between what are called Eastern & Western philosophy into what we call CENTRAL PHILOSOPHY. The basis of "Ikologiks" emanates from what are called the "Nine Principles of Life (9PL)" as a series of nine pictographic, ideographic, & cybernetic mandalas that originated in 1977 by  Adisa Maina Omar (aka Roger M. Davis) while in a deep state of meditation practice.
